The principals of Spencer/Lorraine are the husband and wife team of Jim Spencer and Shirley Lorraine. As performers their backgrounds include acting, magic, dance, music and all aspects of theatrical production. Each holds individual magician membership in the famous Magic Castle in Hollywood.

They are also freelance journalists. Their dual by-line articles have appeared in national publications and their award-winning features and theater reviews served as a mainstay in the local print media of Ventura County, California for 15 years.
